The much anticipated Lexus LC 500 has finally reached the UK as the flagship for the luxury Japanese brand. As one of the first UK car vloggers to get behind the wheel, I couldn't wait to see what it felt like to drive.

The first thing to note about the Lexus LC 500 is that it's a Grand Tourer, designed for leisurely drives over long distances with comfort as the main objective. The whole car has been crafted in a way that takes inspiration from Japanese culture and the lines both inside and outside of the car make it an enjoyable place to be.

As a four seater, it's certainly comfortable and the head up display unit is an optional extra that I'd personally recommend. There are very few GT cars in 2018 which come loaded with this level of technology and that's noticeable right from the off.

Usually at this point I'd talk about optional extras (rest assured I'll be coming on to this) but it's worth mentioning here that the Lexus LC 500 comes with the majority of luxuries as standard.

Cruise control, active lane guidance, road sign recognition, dual comfort zones, automatic paddle-shift gear box...I could go on.

From an optional extra perspective, I'd recommend choosing the Sports Plus pack and the Head Up Display unit meaning that you get the rear active spoiler and four wheel steering. You can also opt for the Mark Levinson sound system which gives you a crisp, clear, unparalleled audio experience.
